Starting points, not menu prices
What things cost.
Most agencies make you book a call to find out whether they are affordable. Here are the numbers, with the honest caveat that the real one comes after a short conversation.
How this works
Three things worth knowing before the numbers
Fixed price wherever it can be fixed
Most defined projects get a number before work starts, and that number does not move unless you change what you asked for. Open-ended work gets a rate and an agreed ceiling instead of a running meter.
Bands, not quotes
Every figure here is a starting point. A five-page site for a landscaper and a five-page site for a law firm are not the same job. The real number comes after a short conversation, and it comes in writing.
No lock-in
Care plans are month to month. You own the site, the domain, the content and your Google and Facebook pages from day one. Leaving is a matter of pointing DNS somewhere else, not negotiating a release.

The part that keeps working after launch
Month to month, cancel whenever. A site nobody maintains is a liability within a year - this is the difference between a site you own and a site you inherit problems from.

What moves the number
Why two similar jobs quote differently
The single biggest factor is usually the least technical one: whether your words and photographs already exist. A business that arrives with both often lands near the bottom of a band.
Questions about money
The ones people feel rude asking
- Why not just list exact prices?
- Because the same request means different work for different businesses, and a fixed menu price would mean padding every quote to cover the worst case. Bands plus a short call gets you a truer number than a price list would.
- Do you take payment in stages?
- Yes. Typically a deposit to start, and the balance on launch. Larger projects are split across milestones so you are never far ahead of what has been delivered.
- How do I actually pay?
- An invoice arrives by email with a link to pay it, by bank transfer or by card. There is no account to create and no portal to log into. Invoices are due fourteen days from the date on them, and care plans are billed monthly on the same card or account.
- What is not included?
- Domain registration, third-party subscriptions, stock photography, sign printing and advertising spend are paid by you directly. Nothing is marked up quietly.
- Is the assessment fee wasted if I do not go ahead?
- No. You keep the findings and the prioritised list, and they are written so another developer could act on them. If you do go ahead with us, the fee credits toward the build.
- Do you work with tight budgets?
- Sometimes, if the scope shrinks to match. What we will not do is quietly cut corners to hit a number - you will get told what a smaller budget buys and what it leaves out.
